What does the Bible teach about human potential and the human condition? There are other perspectives besides that of the Bible’s on what it means to be a human being. What makes the Bible’s perspective compelling is the significance it bestows on the individual person while still making sense of the history of the whole human race. The Bible writers do not blink in pointing out the flawed nature of human beings. But their essential conviction is that God still intends for us to enjoy the full exercise of our created powers, in spite of the most unpromising circumstances in which we may find ourselves. To that end God has invested every resource.

My six conversation partners in the PROBE broadcasts are teachers and pastors who embrace the perspective of the Bible. The course of the thirteen conversations will take us on a sacred journey that starts with Genesis, the first book of the Bible to the last book, Revelation. To sum up–the trip from Creation to Re-creation. I invite you to join us.
